The day that ends the year 2011

I just cannot get my head around the fact that the end of this year is today... where did the whole year go to>> I spent most of the summer recovering from my two spinal ops and trying to make my life a little better after the terrrible outcome of the ops.. Our dogs were amazingly gentle with me, and when I got to take them walking, they learned not to pull and be patient... Now we have a New Year, I do hope that it will be better for many people out there, and a good one to look forward to.. Its not yet 8 am, so I am up fairly early, but looking forward to going out this evening and meeting up with a whole bunch of good friends to toast the old year out!
