preparing for this evening's trip out to celebrate New Year with friends

Its just typical and just my luck, that my knee replacement which has been behaving wellish for the last two years has decided to create pain and make walking difficult again.. As its also the side of the hip that has not been replaced, not sure whether that is the real cause, and of course everywhere is shut so I shall have to wait until the surgeons return next week and see if I can find the cause of the pain... So I am resting or trying to, on top of my bed, listening to the radio and trying to ignore the pain.. this is on top of the effects of the spine ops gone wrong, and its days like these that make me feel ollllllllddddddd.
